The Journey of Quality Craftmanship.

Our selected stone sculptures were created by the stonemason Tumwi Robert Sachiti. He was born on the 29th of April 1976 in Sachiti village under chief Makoni in Manicaland province in Zimbabwe. He did primary education at Gandanzara preschool from 1984 to 1990 and come out with flying colours. His mother was a housewife and used to struggle much for his family to get better education since he was number 5 in a family of seven siblings. Luckily, he was picked up by the social welfare schemes in Zimbabwe. His brother William Sachiti, who is in the second generation, inspired me to do Stones art works in 2008 at his house in Sunningdale – at the time he formed a new generation in art industry. Tumwi does abstracts in green opal stones, springstone and white opal stones. Due to political backgrounds in Zimbabwe he connected to South Africa in search of greener pastures and remained in stone and metal art works since then. Since he has been renowned for his work and has welcomed the opportunity to become part of our mission and hopefully boost his art works.

As they are hand-crafted and natural products they are perfectly imperfect and may show signs of wear. Where needed, our pieces will have beautiful artisan repair work using traditional methods to restore functionality.

All dimensions may vary slightly from the sizing given due to the nature of the products.
