Buhera Basket Medium – Plain

These baskets are a beautiful reflection of an ancient weaving tradition, made by the Buhera women of Zimbabwe. The baskets were traditionally used for storing mealie meal and beer. To make them waterproof, cow dung would be smeared on the outside of the baskets.
