On my first trip to Kenya, I captured this classic Mara scene while driving to the camp. The harsh midday light gave the photo a grainy, old-fashioned look, making it a favourite of mine. Photographed on Fujichrome 50 ISO slide film.

When I arrived in the Mara on my first-ever trip to Kenya, I was greeted with this classic scene as we drove to the camp. It was midday and the light was very harsh. By using photographic film it has a grainy old-fashioned look and is a favourite photo of mine.
